Carpenter

The role of the Carpenter is to execute jobsite tasks in adherence with the Lead Carpenter’s directives and the project schedule. The carpenter is expected to coordinate effectively with all members of the jobsite crew including subcontractors; support the Project Manager and other team members as needed (especially in the absence of an on-site Lead Carpenter); and provide guidance to Apprentice Carpenters as they work to develop their skills.

Lead Carpenter

The Lead Carpenter is the point person on the jobsite, managing and directing tasks of all crew members and subcontractors on site to ensure efficiency and productivity. The role of the Lead Carpenter is to provide on-site support to ensure that the project is executed in line with the agreed schedule and budget. The Lead Carpenter needs to have the competency of a Carpenter, along with the managerial skills to actively manage and supervise all jobsite crew members, including subcontractors.

Compensation and requirements

Compensation

  • These are full-time positions offering very competitive wages.

  • 8 paid company holidays, plus 10 additional paid days off per year. Roll over max 5 days per year.

  • Generous annual tool allowance.

  • Reimburse for construction related continuing education, training and licenses.

Requirements

  • Reliable vehicle suitable for a professional carpenter.

  • Able to work full time Monday through Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm.

  • Sufficient strength to execute job duties.

  • Comfortable on ladders and staging.
